I have been an animal lover since I was born.  I am from a small town 50 miles North of Spokane, WA.  I can remember finding two little Mag-Pie birds in the woods walking down to our grandparents house.  The poor things looked like they had been kicked out of their nest & just chirping to beat the band.  I took them home & they turned out to be great pets. 

I knew when I was young I wanted to work with animals.  I spent some time working as a vet technician and found that although I wanted to work with animals, I became too emotionally connected to them, so the vet side of animal involvement was not for me.

After spending some time volunteering at local animal shelters and speaking with various kennel owners and clients  I knew I wanted to be an in home pet sitter.  So many of the pets in the kennels were traumatized by their change in surroundings, sleep patterns and eating schedules that I was certain that I could provide a much safer/loving environment by working with pet owners to manage the care of their pets in their homes while they were away.

I graduated in April 2008 from Pet Designs Academy, the only accredited grooming school in eastern Missouri.  I look forward to serving you and your furry (and feathered !) friends with not only sitting services but grooming services as well!
